McDonald's and good clothing don't mix

I stopped at McDonaldland today to let my 6yr old release his energy. I know this is the mecca for children and parents should be prepared for all the screaming, crying and juice-spilling scenarios; Suffice it to say, I wasn't prepared, but I dealt with it.

One parent was there with her son who was jumping and rolling, just being a kid. Well, he ripped his pants. Unfortunately, these were his uniform pants and the parent let everyone know, EVERYONE, that it was the 4th pair he'd ripped this month. She rant and raved and swatted him on the butt. Then let him return to play?

I feel for the mom, however, isn't everyone aware of what kids do when they get into McDonaldland?

Straight to the playroom to begin running while you wait in line for the food; You deliver the food to the table, they run to the table, munch on a fry and off they go back to play.

They jump, run, slide and stretch. And don't forget Murphy's law.

The uniform pants, shirt or both will get ripped, dirtied or stained.

Enter the playroom at your own risk.
